PROJECT

The FIBRENAMICS project aims at developing various contents for dissemination in the media, about the latest developments in the field of fiber-based materials, with special focus on advanced applications in medicine, construction, architecture, personal protection, transport and sports.

The contents of science and technology developed are directed to the general public, without any commercial purposes and for dissemination through the media, including:

• TV broadcast – 7 television programs;
• Internet – interactive website containing information about the different areas;
• Radio broadcast – 7 programs with about 3 minutes each;
• Written press – weekly publications of the various areas in newspapers and magazines.

The overall coordination of the project is in charge of Professor Raul Fangueiro from the School of Engineering of University of Minho.
