Additive manufacturing will be a technological pillar with an important future. There is already a vast development with applicability in several areas.

Nanofabrication, that is, the ability to be manufacturers at the nanoscale, drawing the properties of the material from the molecule and its atoms is another relevant technology for the future of materials, as well as green technologies, always guaranteeing future sustainability: cars autonomous, solar energy, recyclable plastics, sustainable construction and waste.

Finally, biomimicry. It will only be possible to find these solutions if we are able to realize that nature has already invented what we want to reinvent and has already reached where we want to go. The mimicry of what nature is capable of doing is fundamental to find the technologies that can respond, not only from a functional point of view, but also from a sustainability point of view.

Leonardo da Vinci wrote "what did not work, nature has already eliminated", the natural process itself makes this selection.
