After the success of the first edition that brought together 200 researchers from 30 nationalities at the S. Julião da Barra Fort in Lisbon, the AuxDefense conference will be back in 2020 now in Porto.

Between July 6 and 7, all roads will lead to the Serra do Pilar Quarters. It will be at this historic site that universities, research centers, technology centers and companies will come together to learn about the best and most innovative things being done worldwide in the field of advanced materials for defense.

AuxDefense2020 is an initiative of Fibrenamics – University of Minho with the seal of the Ministry of National Defense. A unique conference in the world that first promoted in 2018 the discussion on development and research in the areas of nano and microtechnology, biotechnology, invisible materials, intelligent materials and structures, and energy storage and generation.

‘Call for Abstracts’ is underway and by January 31, 2020 you will be able to submit your work for presentation at the conference.
