Fibrenamics Green and Lipor launch Creativity Challenge
Plastic Products is the name of the challenge
The Fibrenamics Green Platform launched the latest Creativity Challenge, Plastic Products. Promoted together with Lipor and aimed at all members belonging to the Green Think Tank (GTT) chain, this challenge aims to bring ideas to the boil always in order to develop innovative products based on waste and with new uses, shapes, touch, finishes and emotions.
Fibrenamics Green and Lipor believe that it is possible to give a new life to plastic waste through design and innovative technologies and, therefore, created this challenge of creativity, which runs until the 20th of April.
The projects developed for the challenge must incorporate a mixture of rigid plastic residues (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene, polystyrene, polypropylene, among others) that are difficult to sort. In addition, projects may include components in materials other than waste, as long as their pertinence is duly substantiated.
There are no restrictions on the number of projects submitted per participant.
The competition jury, made up of Raul Fangueiro, from the University of Minho, Benedita Chaves, from Lipor, and João Feyo, from OPO-LAB, will choose the best proposal, according to merit, innovation, creativity, sustainability, technical feasibility criteria and market potential.
A single winner will be elected for this challenge and will be awarded a cash prize of € 1500.00.
