Together, Moldacril and Seamless deal annually with 44 tons of waste powder, sawdust, strips and sheets of acrylic, polyester, polyamide and polyester with cotton.
Challenged by Fibrenamics Green to reintroduce waste to the market, it will now be possible to give new life to these materials through design and technology.
This competition, will occur from February 28th to April 14th, will make the ideas of designers, architects, and engineers boil, in order to develop groundbreaking products based on waste and with new ways of usage, shapes, touch, finishes and emotions.
The projects will be evaluated on terms of innovation, creativity, sustainability, technical feasibility, and market potential.
There are no restrictions on the number of projects submitted per participant and there will be rewarded two monetary prizes worth € 1,000 each.
