Fibrenamics Green promotes Innovation Open-day
The Fibrenamics Green project - Platform for the development of innovative products based on waste will organize on March 29 the second Innovation Open-Day, which will take place, starting at 2 pm, in the Interactive Library (B-in) of the Main building , at the Azurém Campus of the University of Minho, in Guimarães.
This event marks the entry into the second phase of the project, with the launch of the Fibrenamics Green digital platform, and has the participation of the Ministry of the Environment and the renowned designer David Bota.
This initiative has as its motto the valorization of waste through product design and engineering, therefore, a moment of creative thinking “Green Think Tank” is also scheduled, which will be complemented with an interactive experience.
Fibrenamics Green is a sustainable innovation project, which is being developed by the International Fibrenamics Platform at the University of Minho, in partnership with the Center for the Valorisation of Residues, and which aims at the incorporation and valorisation of residues from various industries for the development of innovative products.
The Innovation Open Day is a free event, however requires registration.
The Fibrenamics Green Project - Platform for the development of innovative products based on waste, with the reference NORTE-01-0246-FEDER-000008, is co-financed by the ERDF under the Northern Regional Operational Program NORTE2020, with a total eligible cost of € 552,856.83, EU financial support of € 469,928.31 and self-financing of € 82,928.52.
