Fibrenamics Green promotes “waste innovation” at Oliva Creative Factory

Within the scope of the “Design in industrial innovation” exhibition, Oliva Creative Factory, in partnership with ERT Têxtil SA, invites the Fibrenamics Green project to hold the exhibition “From Waste to Product”, which will be open to the public from 21 to 27 de Janeiro at Oliva Creative Factory, in S. João da Madeira. This exhibition will culminate with the Fibrenamics Green workshop: “Innovation with Waste - Product Design and Engineering”, which will take place on January 27, 2017, starting at 2:30 pm.

The presentation of the Fibrenamics Green Project as a whole - Platform for the development of innovative products based on waste, the workshop will include the participation of Paulo Bago de Uva, from the University of Aveiro, in a session on “New Approaches for Sustainable Design ”, By Ana Figueiredo, from SPAL Porcelanas, who will address the theme of“ Business Sustainability ”, and will end with a presentation on“ The recovery of waste to generate new products, new businesses and the strengthening of business credibility ”, in charge of Fernando Merino, from ERT Têxtil.
Finally, there will be a moment of technological networking where you can visit the exhibitions “Fibrenamics Green - From Waste to Product” and “Design in Industrial Innovation - the ERT case”.
Fibrenamics Green - Platform for the Development of Products based on waste is a sustainable innovation project developed by the International Fibrenamics Platform in partnership with Centro para a Valorização de Resíduos (CVR) of the University of Minho.
The Fibrenamics Green Project - Platform for the development of innovative products based on waste, with the reference NORTE-01-0246-FEDER-000008, is co-financed by the ERDF under the Northern Regional Operational Program NORTE2020, with a total eligible cost of € 552,856.83, EU financial support of € 469,928.31 and self-financing of € 82,928.52.
