This Saturday João Gomes Cravinho will be in Guimarães for the start of the Army Day celebrations that will continue until October 28th.

The Minister of National Defense will be present at the opening session dedicated to the theme 'National Technological Partner Army' at Paço dos Duques, where the products developed by Fibrenamics in the AuxDefense project will be on display.

Ballistic helmet and vest, knee pads and elbow pads developed for the Ministry of National Defense will be the featured products, resulting from the scientific research and technological development work in the area of ​​advanced materials carried out by the AuxDefense consortium that associates the University of Minho through the Platform International Fibrenamics, the Portuguese Army and the Portuguese Air Force to five Portuguese companies in the northern region: Fibrauto, IDT Consulting, Latino Group, LMA and Sciencentris.
