Fernando Cunha, Fibrenamics researcher, was a guest speaker presented yesterday “The new world of fiber-based materials” in another international participation of the platform. Today he presented “The role of intelligent fibrous materials in technical applications”, making known the platform's vision and work in this area of ​​enormous potential. This activity, like so many similar ones, is part of what is the mission, and respective services, that Fibrenamics offers to its users, both in terms of knowledge transfer and in terms of technological surveillance.

Knowledge transfer is at the origin of the project, which came about precisely with the purpose of bringing knowledge about fibers to Portuguese schools. Since then, the platform has grown considerably, being already a reference in terms of knowledge in this area, and, for this reason, it participates in activities such as congresses and conferences, to disseminate what is best done in the world of fibers. On the other hand, and in order to remain at the forefront of the technology inherent in fibers, Fibrenamics regularly participates in activities, around the world, that showcase innovation and new trends in the global market.

Adding one more international participation, Fibrenamics will continue to work, daily, in order to be the platform that aggregates knowledge and agents of the area, fulfilling the spirit of mission that the future is built based on fiber.
