Fibrenamics receives the Secretary of State for National Defense

Fibrenamics received the visit of the Secretary of State for Defense, Marco Capitão Ferreira, this Thursday, May 4th. The visit is part of the recent signing of the protocol between the Directorate General of National Defense Resources and the University of Minho.

The visit was attended, among others, by his deputy, Pedro Rodrigues, the Chief of Staff, Ana Resende and members of the board of idD Portugal Defense.

After the reception by the Presidency of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, Raul Fangueiro, President of Fibrenamics and Vice President of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, welcomed the delegation, expressing Fibrenamics' availability to share its experience and knowledge in the area of defense.

During this visit, the Fibrenamics team had the opportunity to present some of their most recent technological developments in this area, as well as discuss their strategy under the motto "From Defense to Society". The Secretary of State praised the work of Fibrenamics and highlighted the importance of the representativeness of national initiatives beyond borders.

Fibrenamics, in turn, thanked the Secretary of State for his visit and for recognizing the importance of the organization for the technological sector. The association evaluates as very positive the Secretary's visit and reinforces its commitment to maintain peace and national security, through the development of technological solutions based on advanced materials.
