Phenotypic Plasticity, the name of the project which is based on the homonymous concept of plants that change their physiology or anatomy to better adapt to adverse circumstances, aims to restore tactile sensations and promote cognitive stimulation, visibility, orality and empowerment of the elderly, through a garment with a built-in mechanical prosthesis for people with upper limb amputation, allowing, from a haptic feedback system with textile sensors integrated to the prosthetic hand, to summon the visitor to a sensory experience from a handshake.
