State Secretary for Commerce at the 'State Sustainable Innovation Open-Day' of Lousas de Valongo
This Wednesday, March 28th, the company Lousas de Valongo will host the presentation event of the SLATETEC technology, an innovative way of recovering mineral waste that promises to boost the sector, and which results from the L&D's R&D project in Valongo with the International Fibrenamics Platform at the University of Minho.
Paulo Alexandre Ferreira, Assistant Secretary of State and Commerce, will be present at the opening session, as well as the Mayor of Valongo, José Manuel Ribeiro, the administrator of ELV, Rui Nunes de Matos, and the coordinator of the International Platform Fibrenamics from the University of Minho, Raul Fangueiro.
The session is scheduled to start at 4 pm, at the premises of the Empresa das Lousas da Valongo, and, in addition to the presentation of SLATETEC and the various possibilities for collaboration in its application, it will also include the presentation of the company's history of innovation.
The ‘Valongo State Sustainable Innovation Open-day - Functional eco-composites based on mineral waste’ will also feature a Networking Cocktail that will allow all participants to exchange views on this new technology.
