State Secretary for the Environment at ‘Fibrenamics Impulse’
Inês dos Santos Costa is invited to the event “Fibrenamics Impulse - Sustainable Future” organized by Fibrenamics of the University of Minho
The Secretary of State for the Environment, Inês dos Santos Costa, will be present on March 18 at the fourth edition of the Fibrenamics Impulse event, organized by the Fibrenamics platform of Uminho, under the theme 'Sustainable Future' and which will take place online.
The initiative gives voice to the growing need to think about the country's sustainable recovery. A regenerative process where circularity will play a major role not only for the economy, but also in the battle against climate change.
The event will be the stage for discussion on the role of companies, universities, services and innovation centers in the context of the circular economy.
Among the guests will be the executive director of Smart Waste Portugal, Luísa Magalhães, the manager of the Climate Change and Sustainability Services area at EY, Bernardo Rodrigues Augusto, the chairman of the board of the Center for the Valorisation of Waste, Cândida Vilarinho, the director of innovation & development at The Navigator Company, and CEO of Sociedade da Água de Monchique, Vitor Hugo Gonçalves.
Fibrenamics has 10 years of experience in transferring university-business knowledge, aggregates more than 300 partners and has been recognized by the European Commission as a case study for the innovative methodology implemented.
