Development of a new generation of seamless clothing for protection against low speed impact

The Aux_Seamless project is based on the development of a new generation of seamless clothing for protection against low-speed impact, using innovative technologies with active behavior such as polymeric materials with non-Newtonian behavior, auxetic fibrous structures and nanomaterials.

The products to be developed will allow the promoting company PLAYVEST to establish a position in the international markets in the fields of sport and personal protection, especially for more advanced age groups, for situations where there is a high load of physical contact (falls) or a high impact caused by objects in movement. This process includes seamless garments with active reinforcement completely integrated in selected areas such as elbows, knees, hips, chest, among others, to maximize impact resistance and energy absorption, combined with high ergonomics and comfort provided to the user.
