The contest consists of two challenges, Fiber and Wood, and will be open until June 30th. In this sense, it is intended that the participants develop an innovative product based on the Fiber or Wood demonstrator model.

The Fibrenamics Green team will choose the best proposal for each of the challenges, according to criteria of merit, innovation, creativity, sustainability and technical feasibility and, for this, it seeks the two best solutions that apply the development of products based on residues with new uses, shapes, touch, finishes and emotions.

The winner of each challenge will be awarded a cash prize of € 500.00, and will be given the opportunity to develop his product and publicly present his project.

For the participants to be able to directly contact the materials and technologies of the Fiber and Wood demonstrator models, the GTT Open Day will take place on June 14th.

The Fibrenamics Green Project - Platform for the development of innovative products based on waste, with the reference NORTE-01-0246-FEDER-000008, is co-financed by the ERDF under the Northern Regional Operational Program NORTE2020, with a total eligible cost of € 552,856.83, EU financial support of € 469,928.31 and self-financing of € 82,928.52.
