This initiative, which aims to bring the academic and business world closer together, in the search and implementation of responses to emerging societal challenges, marks a new phase of the Fibrenamics Platform in fostering the analysis of society and technology trends and in encouraging companies to meet the challenges that the future presents, helping them to convert these opportunities into business.

Fibrenamics Impulse will count on the intervention of the Secretary of State for Industry and the Rector of the University of Minho and will have as main speaker the renowned researcher Carlos Fiolhais. The event will also have a debate moderated by Daniel Deusdado, program director at RTP, which will involve the participation of representatives from the business and academic circles, such as the University of Minho, Impetus, the Amorim Group, CEiiA and JWT Intelligence Portugal , on the role of innovation, knowledge transfer and science and technology in the transformation of society.

Over the past 7 years, Fibrenamics has been working on university-company knowledge transfer, bringing together more than 250 partners, having recently been recognized by the EU as a case study in this field, considering the results obtained in this area and the innovative methodology that you have implemented. This new phase of the Platform consolidates the knowledge transfer model implemented now in a long-term and sustained logic.
