Fibrenamics in International Mission to Japan to establish international collaboration initiatives.
Fibrenamics embarks on an international mission to Japan to promote joint initiatives and strengthen international cooperation with reference institutions on research and technological development. Some of the main objective for the mission include technological surveillance, identification of collaboration opportunities and the mapping of knowledge transfer models adopted in Japan.
The mission includes visits to leading institutions in the Japanese research and innovation scenario. The reception at the Embassy of Portugal and at AICEP's Portugal Global marks the first moment of the visit and provides a conducive environment for the creation of ties between mission participants and representatives of Portugal in Japan. The following days will be marked with visits to the Institute of Industrial Science at the University of Tokyo, where research and innovation strategies will be addressed and discussed; and to the National Institute for Materials Science, to acquire perspectives and knowledge about the projects and initiatives promoted by the institute. The mission will conclude on the fourth day, with a visit to Teijin Automotive Technologies, to map trends and exchange knowledge on technological innovation in the automotive sector.
