Fibrenamics invited to the 14th ISBBB, in Canada
The international platform Fibrenamics of the University of Minho was invited by the University of Guelph, in Canada, to the 14th International Symposium on Bioplastics, Biocomposites and Biorefining - ISBBB - (International Symposium on Bioplastics, Biocomposites and Biorefination), which runs since May 31 and ends on June 3rd.
The theme of this edition is “Sustainable Bioeconomy to marketplace” and Fibrenamics was to present its developments in the field of composites reinforced with natural fibers for advanced applications.
The theme of the Fibrenamics keynote, presented yesterday, the first day of the Symposium, by Carlos Almeida, was “Natural Fiber Composites for Strengthening of Civil Engineering Structures”.
