Fibrenamics, a platform recognized for the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge, was highlighted at the 6th Economy Week with the first session of the Ignite Sessions. The inspiring event, dedicated to innovative products, brought together leading experts and professionals to discuss trends and opportunities for the industry and society related to innovation in areas such as Construction and Architecture, Defense and Personal Protection, Ecodesign, Mobility, and Health and Wellness.

Held in Braga, the opening session was attended by the president of Fibrenamics, Raul Fangueiro, and the director of InvestBraga, Gil Carvalho. Also present were important names in the field, such as Cláudia Silva, director of R&D at COLEP, Fernando Cunha, executive director of Fibrenamics, Francisco Silva, director of Orthos XXI, Júlio Grilo, director of Engineering at Simoldes, Manuel Gaspar, director of Industrial Maintenance at IMPETUS, and Pedro Pereira, from CCG (Centro Computação Gráfico). The participation of these experts reinforced the importance of innovation, entrepreneurship and technology in building a promising future.

Gil Carvalho, director of InvestBraga, emphasized the relevance of the event in the 6th Week of the Economy, which addressed the transfer of technology to companies. The director of InvestBraga highlighted the importance of hosting the Ignite Sessions, promoted by Fibrenamics, in the business showcase, bringing the knowledge and innovation centers closer to the companies in Braga that export worldwide. Carvalho pointed out that this initiative translates the value of the effort to promote and boost the region's economy.

Companies in the region that use innovative products developed by Fibrenamics are now able to produce and compete in the most demanding international markets. During the event, the participants had the opportunity to learn about future trends, with a view to creating value through innovation, allowing these companies to grow and conquer new markets.

Fibrenamics has been establishing itself as a reference in the region, where companies have evolved from a "Made In" model to "Design and Invented In". Innovation has been the main driver of development, and Fibrenamics demonstrates an effective capacity to connect with companies in these technology transfer and innovation processes.

Fibrenamics' Ignite Sessions are just one of several knowledge transfer initiatives promoted by the association. Did you like this article? Join the Fibrenamics community, registering for free here.
